Oregon Worker Relief is supporting essential workers and increasing community resilience in our state. By ensuring agricultural workers don’t have to choose between earning a paycheck or protecting their health, Oregon Worker Relief is supporting essential workers and keeping our communities safe.

Oregon Worker Relief’s new Climate Change Fund gives financial assistance to agricultural workers who miss work due to extreme heat or smoke

  • Agriculture includes farming, landscaping, fishing, tree-planting, dairy, ranching, food processing, butchering, nursery work and more.

To qualify, the heat or smoke must reach certain risk levels:

  • The temperature must reach 90 degrees or higher in your residence or workplace.
  • OR the air quality index (AQI) must be 150 or higher. If you have certain health conditions, the AQI must be 100 or higher.
